PlexiSun : Revolutionizing Solar Hot Water with Innovative Building-Integrated Solutions

PlexiSun is a new architectural approach for energy efficient buildings that addresses many of the shortcomings of competing products currently available. It was developed from an outdoor solar shower concept invented in New Zealand to solve 2 problems –

– no hot water at a rural beach property, and
– the aesthetics of solar water heaters in the market.

The original shower concept won an Innovation Award that generated international interest leading to USA market research, performance testing at TUV in Europe, and investment to install a commercial test site at a craft brewery in Australia to validate renewable energy benefits and refine a modular design and mounting system.

Scalable to generate large volumes of solar hot water, with patents for the application of contemporary construction surfaces and the mounting and maintenance system, PlexiSun is a unique product with architectural aesthetics which offers multiple payback benefits that are built-in, not bolted-on.

Construction is from established building materials with no end-of-life concerns, and it can be manufactured in any market from exclusively supplied parts, and locally produced aluminium & CNC processing to reduce exposure to supply chain instability, provide local employment opportunities, and allow pricing that is competitive in each market.
